Víxla AS Established as Independent Company to Accelerate Plastic Recycling Technology
Eagle Technology AS has completed a strategic demerger, effective April 2026, establishing Víxla AS as an independent company dedicated to the further development and commercialization of its plastic recycling technology.
The demerger is part of a broader restructuring of Eagle Technology into three focused sister companies, designed to enable each business area to operate with greater clarity, speed, and scalability.
“By separating our intellectual property into dedicated companies, we create a stronger foundation for growth and improved focus, both commercially and financially,” says Pål Myklebust, Chairman of the Board and major shareholder in Eagle AS.
A dedicated platform for growth
Víxla AS has been established to drive the next phase of development and global deployment of the Vixla plastic recycling technology. The company is headquartered at Prinsens gate 22, Oslo, Norway.
“Establishing Víxla as an independent company allows us to sharpen our commercial focus and accelerate our global go-to-market strategy,” says Simen Moberg, CEO of Víxla AS.
“This structure gives us the flexibility to scale faster while continuing to build on the strong technical foundation developed within Eagle.”
The establishment of Víxla AS does not result in changes to staffing or role distribution, ensuring continuity in both expertise and execution.
Continued access to engineering and fabrication capabilities
As part of Eagle Group, Víxla retains full access to shared engineering and fabrication resources through Eagle Technology Newco. This structure enables Víxla to combine focused commercial execution with robust, cost-efficient engineering and manufacturing support.

Part of a stronger, more focused group
Following the demerger, Eagle Technology is organized into three sister companies:
Víxla AS, focused on plastic recycling technology
Eagle Technology Newco (old Eagle Technology AS), responsible for engineering and fabrication
A company focused on water treatment and drill cuttings technologies (Rena Pure and ITDU). Company to be renamed and rebranded later this spring.
Together, this structure strengthens the group’s ability to develop, commercialize, and scale its proprietary technologies globally.
