Operations and partnerships

  • Demo Plant, Norway

    Norway’s first chemical recycling plant. In partnership with Halden Municipality, Vixla has established a demonstration plant at Rokke waste management facility, outside of the city of Halden.

    The plant became the first operational Vixla facility globally in June 2025 and serves as a hub for technology validation, feedstock testing, and process optimization.

  • Commercial Plant, United Kingdom

    First commercial Vixla deployment. The first commercial Vixla plant is being deployed in the UK with our strategic partner QM Recycled Energy.

    Two Vixla units have been installed at the Hoo facility in Kent, creating the first commercial reference site for the technology.

    Commissioning began in December 2025, with continuous operations scheduled for April 2026.

  • Upcoming Projects

    Belgium: One Vixla system is scheduled for commissioning and startup in Belgium June 2026.

    Spain: One Vixla system is scheduled for commissioning and startup in Spain later this year.

    Philippines: One Vixla system is scheduled for commissioning and startup in Philippines later this year.

    Global expansion: Market development and evaluation of future deployment opportunities are assesed in multiple regions as the need for decentralized recycling capacity grows.
